"My greatest wish is to share my gifts, and ever accumulating knowledge, with aspiring musicians - to perpetuate the legacy - to take musicality and creativity to levels not yet achieved - to inspire and nurture young creatives - and take making music - to a place beyond what we can even imagine"
~Dennis Dominick
From an early age, Dennis was drawn to the music and drummers of the classic rock era including The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

He began playing drums at age 13 and was greatly inspired and influenced by the alternative, hard rock, metal and hip hop groups of the 1990's and 2000’s.
Dennis has performed with various bands in NYC and the tri-state area, while training privately and perpetually with legendary, professional drummers for over 25 years.
As a drum instructor since 2016, Dennis has developed his unique teaching style and informed approach to drumming, by incorporating the best practices of the many incredible instructors and musicians he has worked with.

Dennis holds a BS from St John’s University and certificates A and B from the Drummers Collective in NYC where he explored jazz, latin, funk and R&B styles with notable faculty members such as Marko Djordjevic and other professional working drummers in the NYC music scene.
Dennis went on to study under the late, legendary drum instructor and author Sam Ulano, and later with Peter Greco, Pat Petrillo, Peter Retzlaff and accomplished
Broadway drummer Ron Tierno, who he continues to work with today.
Since 2021, he has been training privately online and in person with world renowned drummers Dave Elitch, Jeff Friedl and Jerry Kalaf.
Dennis is grateful for the opportunity to share his vast, and ever growing knowledge and experience with his students.
Along his musical journey, Dennis has played with both original and cover rock and metal bands, independent artists, singer songwriters, backing and house bands. He has been performing with singer songwriter Brian Matzke
and his band SessionFlo since 2020. Dennis's more recent projects include local Ridgefield CT bands The Dropouts and StationDawgs.

Dennis is an enthusiastic member of the local music community in NYC and in Ridgefield, CT, and frequently participates in the open jams at Sugar Hollow Taproom, where he has had the opportunity to play with multiple house bands and artists including NY Yankee Legend Bernie Williams - and is proud to bring his students into this amazing community of musicians and artists.
